SplitKit (“the App”) · Published by Appzic
Last updated: 27 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Appzic (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles information in connection with the SplitKit mobile application (“SplitKit” or “the App”). We built SplitKit to work primarily on your device, and we designed it to collect as little information as possible.
SplitKit asks for the following permissions only to provide its features. You can change them anytime in your device Settings.
Media accessed through these permissions stays on your device and is used solely to perform the action you requested.
If SplitKit offers an in-app purchase (for example, a one-time “Pro” unlock), the transaction is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Apple may share limited purchase information with us (such as whether a purchase succeeded) so we can unlock features. Please review Apple’s Privacy Policy.
To understand how the App is used and to fix problems, we may use third-party tools, including Google Firebase (such as Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics). When enabled, these tools may collect limited, non-identifying technical information, for example:
This data is used in aggregate to improve performance and reliability and is not used to personally identify you. It is processed under Google’s Privacy and Security terms.
We do not sell your data. We only share data with service providers that help us operate the App (such as Apple for app distribution and purchases, and Google Firebase for analytics and crash reporting), and only as described in this policy or where required by law.
Clips you create are stored on your device and remain under your control; you can delete them from within the App or from your Photos library at any time. Any analytics/diagnostic data is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above. We use reasonable technical measures to protect information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
SplitKit is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.
Depending on where you live (for example, under the EU GDPR or California CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete information about you, or to object to certain processing. Because we hold little to no personal data and require no account, most requests can be satisfied by uninstalling the App and deleting your clips. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
Our service providers may process limited diagnostic data in countries other than yours. By using the App, you understand that such data may be processed where these providers operate.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
